Is Not Chicago?

It really is a perfect time to be in Chicago right now. Why? Because the weather SUCKS. And from what I understand, this week's storms were nothing like the previous weeks. And while it is a wonderful feeling to walk down streets and not bump into people, I'm still open to looking at other cities that could be a better fit. I still have to do my mailing and get in contact with those that contact others so the proverbial night is proverbially young... proverbially speaking. The theatre here has a lot to offer, and Milwaukee is not far away. I just can't see myself on the Red Line waiting for HOURS to get somewhere. I mean, this region of the country is notorious for the weather, and they built a transit system above ground? There must be a good reason for that. I just can't see it.

I've just begun my "Road to Nowhere" tour, and so far so good. I'm enjoying reconnecting with people I haven't seen, checking out a city I've spent very little time in, and playing with a cat named Curtis. And thanks to the over the counter release of Zyrtec, I'm able to tolerate him well. Plus my friend Eric has cable and that makes me happy... very, very happy.

More to come soon. The Subaru comes to pick me up on Thursday. That will begin part five of the "Road to Nowhere" trilogy. I'm very excited to see the driver.
