Only a few days left before heading out of the city. The impulsiveness of my decision has driven me to drink a little more bourbon than I like to, but at the same time I have no regrets. (As a side note I am now allergic to both wine and BEER. Sigh.) All things are pointing me in a wonderful direction. I'm quite pleased with myself: didn't think I had it in me to do something like this. Thought I was a bit of dried up pansy there for a second. Looks like I can still make a wackadoo decision that completely alters every aspect of my life after all. Suhweet.
Allergic to the alcohol or to some other component? The wife and I have started making our own wine because it turns out that it hasn't been the alcohol bothering her all these years, it's been the sulfites they dump in as a preservative. Try looking for stuff from smaller breweries/wineries, you're more likely to find good drinks with no preservatives.
