Victimized


I was stupid and didn't read the fake email completely. They told me that my WAMU account had recently been hacked into or something and I needed to confirm my info. So I clicked on the link, and entered all the necessary info to confirm my account. The SECOND I clicked on 'submit' I realized the mistake I made. Calling Washington Mutual five minutes later took care of the problem. The best part was talking to the completely dispossessed, uninterested customer service representative. Being somewhat tech savvy, I felt like an idiot that I did such a staggeringly dumb thing, so I said to her, "I feel like such a doof". To which she said in monotone:

"Well... don't"

I'll take the coaching.
