So I get my computer back from Dell Technical Support. Yay. I pull the little guy out, plug her in, and press the power button. Nothing. I press the power button again. Nothing. Cut to me 30 minutes later pressing the same button holding my breath and incanting strange spells over the laptop. Nothing. So after a converstaion with some guy named Melbrian at Dell Tech, my computer is going back to Nashville once again.
Now here's the other thing. When I got the computer back, I notice the memory hatch isn't secured in place and the screw that locks the DVD drive in place is missing. Ironic that 10 minutes before I read Dell's 'committment to excellence' in Tech Support statement. You know, a lot of 'striving' and 'assuredness' language and what-not.
No computer for another week. Deep down, I like it.
