Chrissy, one of my classmates, went to Africa this Winter Break with her family. Her stepdad and mother help establish AIDS clinics in much needed parts of the continent. Chrissy came back with small trinkets for everyone. Eric got the coasters. I got the Elephant ashtray. Quite a lovely gesture.
(Mom, this does not mean I'm going to start smoking again... remember our agreement? I hope you are holding your end of the deal.)
