10 days ago Debbie battled the Meat Slicer. It didn't go so well. She had to get 11 stitches, antibiotics, ibuprofen, and a bottle of Lortab (loud cheer!). She was fine when all was said and done, but as you can see from the picture above, my instinct to squeal like a 3rd grader was in full force. It looks like a caterpillar embedded in her index finger.
This is today. Debbie elected to go ahead and remove the stitches herself upon the advice of her doctor brother. I kind of wish it had the face of the Virgin Mary on it. It would make me uncomfortable to have total strangers worshiping my girlfriend's finger, but I'd figure out a way to manage. I smell student loan solutions!
Now that is brave to remove her own stitches..it does look much better though. Glad she is okay, it could of been much worse..:( Just thinking of it makes me queasy. Glad its healing Debbie. Take care. See you soon Michael. I love you, Mom
