Halfway point.

This weekend I head up to Salt Lake City to visit Debbie, possibly buy a computer, restock on my Aveda products (thank you Mom and Lora for spoiling me), and pick up some deodorant and other toiletries not found amongst the peoples of the Red Desert. It also marks the halfway point of the 2008 summer season at Utah Shakes.

It's been a good run so far, defying any expectations I had previous to coming here. It's been an exercise in tolerance and restraint, excess and judgment, the good, the bad, and well... you get the picture. I'm happy to be here, but you won't see me with a permanent grin on my face. I'll leave that to the Joker fanatics.

I look towards Willamette now. Twelfth Night is humming along soundly, and I'm getting more and more excited to see it come it life. I'm slowly preparing my classes and trusting more that in the next few weeks I'll actually have a voice and movement class of which I can be proud.

And I just might be looking at dogs. Just saying... just saying.

Great movie, but I seriously had trouble sleeping the next couple of nights.

I've always had a soft spot in my heart for that show. Good luck.
