Week two here in the Mountlake Terrace Studio 6 extended stay hotel. I've been watching tons of CNN, which, as I'm discovering, makes me terribly depressed. I am working on scripts for the summer, as well as getting my mind around the fact that I will be teaching next Fall and I need to start creating syllabuses, but it's still a little too early for me to think about that. Right now I have to figure out how I'm going to pay all the taxes I owe the state of New York. It's retarded people. Totally retarded.
I'm productive. I write things down. I'm having a ball reading the plays for this summer and quite delighted about the prospect of having a supporting role. I'm seeing people that I haven't seen in years. I'm getting regular sleep. Yet it has been quite some time since I've worked, and my brain is feeling very woozy. It's difficult to even write this post. I don't know how unemployed bloggers do it.
So three more weeks. I'm counting the minutes.
I think it is great you have some time to focus and prepare for what is going to be a busy season. I love you and miss you so much. Looking forward to seeing you in a couple weeks. Say hello to Debbie..and tell her I'm excited to see her soon too. Love you, Mom
