Thanksgiving.

Due to the God of Poverty infiltrating every part of my life, I was unable to go home for Thanksgiving. Thankfully the lovely Maria and Jeff invited me over to their apartment in Jersey City for dinner. It was a rag-tag group of people. Most of us didn't know each other, so we cracked open the bottles of wine and started in on the festivities.

There were some casualties. In an effort to make space in the oven, one of the sweet potato casseroles got moved to the toaster oven. Topped with highly flammable marshmallows, this was a terrible idea. I was fortunate to capture it on video. Take a look below. Keep your eyes on the toaster: you will see flames!

I finally made Marcia's Crescent Roll recipe. The first batch got killed due to some oven temperature problems. I still made Maria eat one. For penance. The rest were great and audience approved!

Here's the spread pre-dinner. The oranges come from California direct. They were glorious. I pretty much polished off the salami in one fell swoop. Helps absorb the wine.

Thankfully you can't really tell how much wine is in me at this point. Needless to say, I found this cubed picture frame to be incredibly interesting, and was asking Maria many questions about it. I'm just thankful there aren't any pictures of me after the Johnny Walker came my way.

I hope everyone's holiday was terrific and delicious!
