Daily Affirmation Post Viral Onslaught
What a doozy of a few days it has been. After completing my stint in Washington DC, I hopped on a 737 back to the West Coast to hang out with the family for a couple of weeks proclaiming "I need to detox".
Well detox I got. On Memorial Day I woke up with what started out as a simple jaunt to the bathroom to relieve myself, and by mid-morning I could barely stand or keep any liquids or foods down. My lower back felt like pieces of hot metal were being inserted into my kidneys and my head pulsed with a dehydration headache. By nighttime I could drink liquids but still no food. I slept on and off throughout the night semi-hallucinating I was living in 1850s venturing out West, and contracted some disease none of my fellows understood. Yeah, that was really cool. By the morning I was feeling much better, and by the afternoon a bowl of chicken soup and soda crackers went down nicely without any repercussions.
The 24-Hour Bug. Gotta love it.
Anyway, I saw this clip of dancing kindergarten kids hopping madly to music, and I couldn't resist the post. It made my day.
That and thought of eating a piece of toast.

Michael: I can honestly say I've not seen you that sick before..you scared me. So so glad you are strong and healthy and bounced back so well. Love you, and enjoyed having you home so very much.
