After Opening.

Yeah so last night's show was a little sluggish and chunky. It was the dreaded post-opening performance, and we were all feeling it. Here's a sampler platter of some of the activities that go on backstage:


Normally Alex has the New York Times Crossword and a cigarette at his station, but today it's comp requests for his million friends. Turns out Alex and I live a block and half from each other in Williamsburg.


Chris is shy. But he likes whiskey. Then he tackles garbage cans at 2 in the morning.


This is the other Chris. He's eating a very old banana. A very old banana. Mushy and black. Like his performance in the show.


These are two queens who kill me in the show. They like wearing PVC and making porn. They also are two of the mellowest people I know.
